Daily paintings and online class as a discipline.

Happy New Year! It's the time of the year we "take stock" of our lives and try to figure out how to become more like who we imagine ourselves to be. So as I spend time looking at the most important areas of my life, I'm seeing I need more discipline in the creativity quadrant. As most of you know I moved out of my studio at The Creative Center and was juried into ArtMongerz where I've a very small place to paint. I also moved into a small studio in my home. Neither place affords me the opportunity to paint large canvas which has been my pleasure the last several years. So I'm in need of something to "jump start" me doing smaller canvases. Yesterday morning I watched an hour video about a class that requires you to paint a small piece daily over a nine week period, starting January 11th.

I'm planning to add a space on my website to post these daily paintings for you to see along with posting on Facebook and Instagram... this way, you, my friends can keep me accountable. The first ones will probably "stink", but bear with me... I will improve! I don't plan to write much about the process or the paintings, just a title and the size. I'd love to have your comments (with compliments OR helpful criticism,) as we go along.

Thank for reading my blog. I'm still working on the next installment in the Creative Friends Series, so be on the lookout for that one soon. Ciao.
