Albuquerque to Santa Fe
This is a painting from a photograph I took as I drove from Albuquerque to Santa Fe a few years ago. I was fascinated with the grey sky and the light of the horizon. The painting actually glows at night when I look at it in my studio. The greens of the pine tree which produce pine nuts was also interesting to me, as well as the shadows on the hills across the mountain in the distance.
