Lobelia Cardinalis
The Lobelia Cardinalis was one of my favorite flowers in my garden. I love the red petals and how gracefully they arched in various directions, out from the stamen. This painting features a close-up view of one in bloom. I painted it in front of a muted blue, gray and white background. The common name is “Cardinal Flower” and nowadays they can even be seen growing along roadsides.
The painting is in a frame and ready to hang.
Size : (h & w) 8 x 10 in
Medium: Oil On Canvas
Inventory Number: 330-20
