Sunset from the Inlet
My cousin sent me a photo of a stunning sunset shot from her condo on the inlet at Little River. It was a gorgeous sky that just begged me to try to paint it. The softness of the sky’s colors - blue, lavender, orange and pink, and the peaceful foreground that picks up the deeper hues of darker blue and green with rich golden yellow light reflections below - was what I wanted my painting to be all about. Though I have to admit that the photo was more beautiful than this painting, it’s nonetheless so pleasing to be able to capture a scene in oils

Medium: Oil On Canvas
