Orange Morning

$200.00

In this small oil painting we see a dramatic coastal image. But the drama is carried through the expanse above along with intense colors, rather than from the water. The early morning sky is still visible as the red-orange bursts through the blue-grey and white morning clouds, introducing the sun over the still grey-green water. I achieved these lovely textures with the use of a palette knife for applying the paint to canvas, rather than using a brush. This is a painting of hope.
