Millions of New Doors
I love the name of this painting: all of the shells have broken open to reveal the interior of each one. This painting was part of a show using a poem by Betty Adcock called 'Topsail Island' as inspiration. You can see the backwash of the ocean and how it does the work of repeatedly washing over the shells to eventually create many unique doors.
