My View
This was literally my view through the window at my home, high in the tree tops one morning. It was a scene so common that most of us have seen it countless times, and often overlook its power: magnificent, dramatic fat clouds in a sea of peaceful blues. Below, just the tip-tops of trees - some still lush and others with branches already bare - turned to shades of brown as the seasons change and fall sets in. I couldn’t believe the true peacefulness of that day and just had to try to paint it. The results feel like a success.
